MEET KERI

I have spent the past 25 years immersed in the fashion and lifestyle industry running my PR and event agency in NYC. While I have loved every minute launching and building brands, producing runway shows and campaigns and storytelling for a glamorous roster of well known designers around the globe, I knew in my heart that there was another meaningful chapter waiting for me.  I never would have imagined that a family trip to Morocco would have changed the course of my life.

After visiting Morocco a handful of times, it became clear that I wanted to share this magical journey with other like-minded travelers.  The calling to pivot my professional life and transition to something that truly fed my soul was too strong to ignore and so Morocco By Design was born.

“Morocco by Design is a “soulful enterprise” - a business that is fueled from my heart.  I believe that through thoughtful travel we can create a stronger connection to the world around us, to each other, and ultimately to what makes us feel the most creative, alive and inspired.”

Why Morocco

They say to go where you feel the most alive; I never knew where that was until I stepped foot in Morocco. Beyond the majestic doorways, the dusty rose palette of the medina, the talented artisans that line the bustling souks and the aromic spices that infuse the streets,  I fell deeply in love with the spirit of the country- the people that make Morocco so magnetic.  I fell in love with the call to prayer that echos through the streets five times a day and reminded me that we are all connected and part of something much greater than us.  My eye was seduced everywhere I turned – the tiles, the textures, the colors, the chaos, the bohemian style was intoxicating.

Each trip I journeyed on my own with passion and purpose, explored new places and allowed myself to discover the magic that happens when you truly wander. I met the most beautiful souls that welcomed me and gave me a feeling of belonging- from guides and artisans to healers and local families -  everywhere I went, doors were opening. The conversations became deeper, the hugs became tighter, the love grew stronger and I truly felt like I was home.

“The most memorable experience of the trip by far was meeting Keri, hearing her story, and seeing Morocco through her eyes.”
