Thankfully, we are skilled editors and will only take you to our personal favorites- the places we covet that we know you will love. Our shopping days consist of visiting design ateliers and artisan workshops from the hottest new stores in Gueliz to under the radar studios buried deep within the medina. You will meet the artisans who are on the front line of the design scene everywhere we go. From caftans and beni ourain rugs to vintage Berber jewels and Tamegroute pottery- bring an extra suitcase as you won’t leave Morocco empty handed.
The traditions of Morocco are what make this trip such a magical journey. We dive deep and experience the culture first hand. From the must-see mosques, gardens and majestic palaces to the public bakeries and Berber pharmacies in the medina. We visit the spice market then learn how to cook a traditional tagine meal using these ingredients. From hand painted pottery to leather poufs we closely explore the age old traditions of each masters’ craft. We experience the wellness and healing practices of the Berber culture from a fifth generation healer. We relax and unwind with a glass of mint tea, a decadent hammam spa treatment and of course we don’t leave Morocco without a little henna tattoo.
Embracing the bohemian vibes of Morocco is something we do best. From the crisp open air of the Atlas mountains to the vast deserts to the coastal seaside towns along the Atlantic, Morocco is a country with diverse and unparalleled natural landscapes. We hike through the High Atlas mountains and spend time with a local Berber family. We chase sunsets daily, whether we are venturing out to the desert for a late afternoon camel trek or soaking in the call to prayer on a magical rooftop. Everyday you will feel a deep connection to the soul of Morocco- the people. Our days are spent immersed with locals so that you can truly experience a day in the life. We will take you inside private homes and to small women run cooperatives to see the entrepreneurial spirit of the women and learn how things are made - from cous cous and argan oil to hand woven rugs. We will explore the local markets where farmers gather weekly to sell local produce. It’s in these beautiful everyday moments of living that you are able to feel the heartbeat of this magical country.
